I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University (2009), a Master of Arts Degree in English from San Francisco State University (1998), a Bachelor of Arts in Language Studies from San Francisco State University (1996), and a Certificate of Stewardship of In-Depth Communication from  the International Institute of Humanistic Studies (2009).  I have trained at high schools and colleges, in hospital outpatient programs, and in private practice since 2007, working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Prior to my work as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I taught college level English and ESL classes for many years, domestically and abroad, and I teach college level Psychology courses.

I continue to advance my education in psychoanalytic psychotherapy because I value this tradition's deep regard for the complexity of human be-ing, as well as its profound respect for creative and relational processes.
